Dr. Michela David is a Psychologist in Kingston, Ontario.   As a clinician she spends much of her time engaged in the assessment and treatment of severe mood disorders, with a focus on cognitive therapy.
Dr. David is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Queen's University, with considerable teaching experience, especially at the graduate level.
Dr. David is an experienced presenter, with particular focus on Cognitive Therapy, Sleep and Shift work, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Seasonal Affective Disorder and Light Therapy.   She has won awards for both clinical supervision and teaching.   Dr. David facilitated a clinicians' group for cognitive therapists in the Kingston area for many years.   She has provided training in suicide intervention, and has led suicide awareness training with the Kingston Police.
Dr. David is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.   She has led courses and workshops in cognitive therapy for over 10 years, and has trained and supervised hundreds of participants across Canada.
